Course explores the derivation of the Navier-Stokes equations and solutions to unsteady free-surface flows, emphasizing solutions to practical flow problems from industry and research perspectives using CFD software/solvers from industry to model channels, rivers, and hydraulic structures. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
