This course covers the foundations of animal welfare and behavior within the context of animal-assisted interventions (AAIs), providing students with the knowledge and practical skills to best advocate for the safety and well-being of animals in therapeutic settings. Additional coursework is required for those enrolled in the graduate-level course.
