Horse Production Practices

Catalog description

This course focuses on horse production, beginning with aspects of management including anatomy, nutrition, disease, and handling safety. Students are introduced to the digestive tract and feeding, reproduction, and behavior and alternative medicines. This course includes an in-person, hands-on lab.
