(3 crs.) Introduction to epidemiology, the study of health and disease in populations. It emphasizes epidemiologic methods and research design for conducting and interpreting health research. Additionally, the course details the systematic review process, discusses the strengths and limitations of the method, and provides step-by-step guidance on how to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis using statistical software. (Lec. 3) Pre: 2nd or 3rd year PharmD student in good standing, or undergraduate student with credit in PHP308 or PHP405, or Graduate student status. Or by permission of instructor.
