Geology of earthquakes, response of single degree of freedom systems, strong ground motion, dynamic soil properties, site response analysis, liquefaction, and seismic earth pressures for retaining wall design. (Lec. 3) Pre: credit or concurrent enrollment in CVE/OCE 483 and graduate standing.
