(3 crs.) A comprehensive look at the juvenile justice system in the United States. Topics include police work, pretrial procedures, court and correctional systems, treatment programs, and issues of inequality. (Lec. 3) Pre: SOC or CCJ major, C or better in CCJ/PSC 274 and SOC/CCJ 230, and junior or senior standing or permission of instructor.
