GENITOURINARY SYSTEM

Catalog description

This course prepares the student to know competences and clinical skills of the genitourinary system, to understand the anatomy, physiology and pathology of the organs evaluated in the genitourinary system such as the kidneys, bladder, prostate and female pelvis. They will analyze pertinent laboratory tests, as well as the signs and symptoms related to the disease process of each organ. This course meets 45 hours of theory in one semester and 45 hours in the skills laboratory for the practice of basic tracking techniques and protocols.
