PEDIATRIC SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY

Catalog description

This course examines the central concepts of formal and applied linguistics, providing historical and current perspectives on the social, psychological and neurobiological aspects of language. In addition, theories and application of cognitive, social, psy chological and cultural development of children and adolescents will be examined. Current thinking will argue classical theory. Emphasis will be placed on the application of current thinking, as well as the therapeutic, teaching, and care practices that arise from these ideas.
