Catalog description

This course discusses the basic concepts of physics applied to radiology. In this second part, the function of the X - ray imaging system, its components and how to control the voltage in the X -ray tube will be discussed. In addition, the X-ray tube, its internal and external structure, the causes and the prevention of failures in it. With this knowledge, the student will understand the interactions that occur within the tube and as a result the production of X -rays. During the semester it will be exemplified how the selection of expo sure factors contributes to a clear diagnostic image.
