FUNDAMENTALS OF STATISTICAL PROCESS CONTROL AND METROLOGY

Catalog description

This course provides the basic concepts of Statistical Process Control (SPC). The course covers control charts, including scaling, graphing, interpretation, and process capability analysis. Troubleshooting techniques are emphasized and practical exercises are integrated into the implementation of SPC in the workplace. Different instruments that are used for data collection are studied for the purpose of statistical analysis. Students will develop competencies in technological reasoning and design that are required for professionals in this field.
