Catalog description

This course exposes the student to the development of their competencies of information and communication skills through the in -depth study of the stages of linguistic development of the child between 0 to 5 years old. Scientific reasoning competencies are developed by analyzing the needs of children and the acquisition of their mother tongue. The student will apply the competence of ethics and diversity when considering the variables in the acquisition of a second language. Emphasis is placed on the develo pment of critical thinking competence by conducting a case study to collect information about a child's linguistic behavior at an early age. It integrates the use of strategies to foster natural literacy, stimulating the development of people management an d service -oriented competencies for the future teacher assistant. Finally, the student will be able to recommend pedagogical strategies to stimulate the development of reading and writing, integrating the use of technology and innovation.
