The course is the third in a six-course series designed to provide supervised experiences where students will develop their knowledge, skills and abilities to match academic preparation as a movement system expert. This course builds on prior coursework an d focuses on the assessment process and the development of skills to effectively use differential diagnosis to identify red flags, comorbidities, and other factors that may negatively impact the recovery process. Through a combination of hands -on clinical experiences, community -based activities and immersive laboratories, students will enhance their skills in the development, implementation, and modification of individualized plans of care in Musculoskeletal physical therapy. The course emphasizes evidence -based practice, clinical reasoning, and effective communication with patients, caregivers, and peers.
