CARE AND HYGIENE OF CANINES AND FELINES

Catalog description
In this course the student will correctly perform the grooming of canines and felines with the usual techniques for this work. It discusses how to prevent diseases in the mouth and gums of pets, as well as the care, bathing and correct use of products acco rding to the type of coat and drying, as well as other skin diseases. Emphasis is placed on the development of skills, abilities and competencies of critical thinking and communication that allow the student to know the appropriate care and hygiene for ea ch canine and feline. These skills will be developed through lectures and practical exercises in the laboratory.
