The course prepares the student to face administration problems, find solutions and evaluate the results once the studied alternatives are implemented. It starts from the assumption that the student does not have a theoretical basis in the matter, so it be gins with a panoramic vision of the various planning theories and then enters into the implementation and evaluation praxis. The course develops in the student the competencies to think critically and act strategically, understand and evaluate the environm ent in which the public organization operates, think strategically and in the long term taking into account the objectives and mission of the organization, lead and manage the organizational change, developing solid strategic plans by prioritizing and allocating resources, establishing performance indicators and conducting continuous monitoring, work collaboratively and effectively, and clearly communicate policy objectives and plans to different internal and external audiences, and thus, face adequately the challenges encountered by public organizations, nonprofits, and communities. .
