Catalog description

This course examines the strategic, tactical, and operational process of operations management in supply chain performance. This course works with the design and management of products, processes, and services within the supply chain. It also focuses on strategic issues such as the size and location of manufacturing plants and technology; tactical issues such as designs and structure, project management methods, as well as equipment selection and replacement. The course also evaluates processes such as production scheduling, inventory managem ent, quality, material traffic, equipment maintenance policies, capacity planning and just -in-time concepts.
