Catalog description

The Sectional Anatomy course applies knowledge in the study of the thick anatomy of the abdomen, pelvis and lower extremity of the human in transverse (parallel and oblique), coronal and sagittal sections. Through an active, participatory and tempered envi ronment to current conditions (which includes socialized discussions of "Power Point" presentations), cooperative works, with models, Simulators, Blackboard forums, cadaver section plates and radiological, CT, MRI and sonography images, and web pages, assi gnments and oral reports) course guides for the students to establish and describe relationships between structures, anatomical, particularly between soft tissues and skeletal constants, to observe, describe and analyze the sections under study, recognize normal anatomy and pathological anatomy, classify the section as transverse, coronal or sagittal, and identify with criteria, the structures present and the body area in which it is located. In addition, the development of competences related to research, new technologies and communication is facilitated.
