FASHION CONCEPTS DEVELOPMENT II

Catalog description

In this course the student will continue to develop topics and techniques of FADE 131 Fashion Concepts Development I. A series of collections will be created focused on the different markets and categories within the fashion industry. The student will deve lop a minimum of three collections of 10 to 15 "looks" for the feminine, masculine and children’s markets under the category of pret -a-porter or ready -to-wear. The students will be introduced to textile design, proto packs, cost sheet, and specification sh eet. At the end of this course students will apply the concepts acquired to make decisions in an analytical and informed way as well as produce more complex and extensive collections.
