APPLIED INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNS FOR THE ACADEMY

Introduction theories and fundamentals of systematic instructional design based on Dick and Carey model, focusing on the strategies for the adult learner integrating constructivism. The student will design a unit using the nine steps of this model in the instructional design including the strategies for an adult population. Integration of the fundamentals, and theories of the systematic design of instruction based on existing design models, for training processes aimed at educational field. The phases of the interactive process of instructional design for learning environments are analyzed. The students will design a workshop putting into practice the steps of an instructional design model, with strategies aimed at a population of adults, integrating constru ctivism. Among the main topics are the analysis of needs for the improvement of employee performance, the systematic design of materials and experiences for the adult learner, with the integration of technologies, formative and summative evaluation, and the evaluation of institutional needs, for the training implementation. Demonstrating competencies of communication, critical thinking, leadership, consulting, and content creation skills at a proficient level is expected. These competencies will allow them to adapt to the new and innovative work styles of any level of educational institutions, being flexible, maintaining a professional posture, rigor, and ethics, in compliance with the institutional policies and regulations, and labor laws of the country whe re they work.
