Discussion of the history of Early Education, characteristics of children from 0 to 8 years old and integral development. Study of educational programs and service models for early education. Analysis of the psychological theories that influence the development of the child and their educational implications. The public policy of Puerto Rico regarding educational services for early childhood is also discussed.
