Study of microorganisms and their interaction with the environment. The importance and impact of microorganisms in natural and artificial environments will be studied. Its diversity, application in bioremediation and manufacturing processes are examined. Study of the applications of microorganisms in processes of environmental importance. The The course includes discussion of molecular application techniques in environmental microbiology and risk assessment. This course will be enhanced with lab practices.
