Catalog description

The principles and methods of technical drawing in engineering applications supported by computer design are addressed, with an introduction to the application of printed circuit board (PCB) design. The fundamentals of orthographic projection, auxiliary projections, sections, dimensions, and tolerances are presented. Pictorial, isometric, and oblique presentation methods are also covered, as are principles of interpretation of engineering plans, symbols, textures, and types of views. In addition to individual activities, teamwork is encouraged through group activities and a final project. Furthermore, it focuses o n the responsible use of technology in 2D and 3D applications.
