ELECTRONICS II
Universidad Ana G. Méndez-Gurabo Campus · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
This course is designed to focus undergraduate engineering students to continue learning characteristics and applications of semiconductor devices and circuits. Emphasis is concentrated on analysis, selection, biasing, and applications of different classes of amplifiers. The course will explain in detail how the class A, B, C and D amplifiers works and the different transistor configurations. The course will illustrate the Operational Amplifiers (Op-Amp) uses and applications including linear and nonlinear circuits. Upon the course completion, students should be able to design, construct, analyze, verify, and troubleshoot active filters in circuits. One semester, 2 credits hours of classroom and 2 hours of laboratory per week.
