Study of curriculum theory, the different traditional models of curriculum design and curriculum development of education systems. The representative models of design approach: matter centered (contents), student -centered and problems centered. Comparison of tradit ional models with modern views of the curriculum that is interpreted in the works of Eugenio María de Hostos and Paulo Freire, among others. Emphasis on the analysis of research articles, and the elaboration of a curricular design adapted to the needs of the students. Practice in the design of a curricular model.
