TEACHING MATHEMATHICS AT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Catalog description

Analysis and discussion of up-to-date mathematics teaching trends, for grades 4th through 6th. Emphasis will be given on instructional design process that focus on a constructivist curriculum view supported by the application of inquiry, discovery and problem solving. An integration of information and communication technology to the instructional process will be presented as a support tool for mathematics teaching stra tegies. Assessment evaluation and measurement techniques will be integrated in the teaching-learning process.
