Study of the applications of microeconomic and macroeconomic theory and tools analysis of decision sciences, with the objective of achieving solutions optimal to the problems of the firm. The firm, either private or public, operates within the institutional economic framework of a country. At the micro level, to understand the dynamics of the firm and set its operations i nto the future, it is necessary to understand the nature and mechanism of economic processes. Microeconomic theory, especially, provides analysis tools that integrate knowledge of statistics, mathematics and economic theory that are useful in the decision -making process. Likewise, the Macroeconomic theory gives us the tools to understand how the firm should make decisions before actions of the Central Bank and changes in the exchange rate.
