Catalog description

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles of epidemiology and their application in veterinary medicine. Students will learn how to measure and describe health and disease patterns in animal populations, investigate disease outbreaks, and about the role of animals in public health. The course will cover topics such as descriptive and causal epidemio logy, infectious disease epidemiology, zoonotic diseases, and the One Health concept.
