PERIODONTAL THERAPY AND OSSEOINTEGRATION

Catalog description

This course is designed to instruct the students on appropriate treatment planning and treatment sequencing in the management of periodontal diseases. This course expands on systemic and local considerations for treatment, periodontal non-surgical and surgical techniques, and supportive periodontal therapy. The course also provides an overview of the process of osseointegration and an introduction to oral implantolo gy. Students participate in laboratory sessions and also research and conduct case presentations in groups.
