This course studies the theoretical relationship between Cultural Studies, Postcolonial Studies and Subaltern Studies. It also offers a marked emphasis on some of the core concepts of these fields of study. It also studies the discourses of affirmation, representation and resistance of the colonial and subaltern subject. As part of this study dynamic, she discusses and analyzes nationalism and feminism as expressions within the colonial and subaltern space. CUST 702 PHILOSOPHY, HISTORY AND LITERATURE: AN APPROACH TO THE READING OF THE CULTURAL PRODUCTION 3 CREDITS This course analyzes the teaching of philosophy, history and literature as cultural products, exploring the way of reading these disciplines. It will be examined how Cultural Studies contribute to an increasingly integrated vision of these three discipline s, their intertextuality and their historical intersections. It also emphasizes the debates and criticisms of postmodern cultural studies and its relationship with the fields of literature, history and philosophy.
