Study of the fundamental concepts of digital platforms (Web), media and social networks. The course covers the characteristics, applications, ethical and legal aspects, and the importance of these digital and social platforms within the context of the comm unity manager (community manager) and the manager of social media (social media manager). Through the application of technological competence, emphasis will be placed on the professional uses and opportunities of these platforms for the planning and manage ment of the online presence of individuals and organizations and their relationships with different audiences. Through scientific reasoning, goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics are designed and developed to carry out a social media plan (including policies or guides for managing social networks), which leads to a positive management of online corporate reputation. The critical thinking competence is applie d through readings, discussions, case studies and practical exercises, responsibly using media platforms and social networks, and other technological resources. Offered for one semester.
