ADVANCED STUDIES IN ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY

Catalog description
An in-depth study of chemistry within the conceptual framework of environmental sciences. The content can vary from semester to semester, but focused on presenting seminars, laboratory experiences for the analysis of very specialized topics or techniques relevant to environmental sciences students. Themes can be selected from conceptual areas as analytical, organic, inorganic, computational, engineering, polymers, physical, bio-, atmospheric, soil and water chemistry. Students can enroll from 1 to 3 credits during any semester. The specific content of the course will be indicated in parentheses following the title of 'Advanced Study in Environmental Sciences ', or subtitles, so that the conceptual subject of the course be identified in the semester academic offering and in the student’s academic record. The student may repeat this course under different subtitles unt il a accumulating a maximum of 6 credits.
