Catalog description

The environmental chemistry course allows the study of the different chemical phenomena that occur in the environment (physical and occupational). Emphasis will be placed on the study of sources, reactions, the effect on the environment and its relationship with human populations in the media of water, soil and atmosphere. This course includes basic concepts of biochemistry and environmental toxicology. Additionally, references are made to related state and federal laws and regulations.
