ADVANCED NURSING PRACTICE OF CRITICAL CARE OF THE ADULT PATIENT

Catalog description
This course will train you to provide nursing care to the critically ill young, middle adult patient. The nursing process, critical thinking, knowledge of advanced physical estimation and knowledge of complex health conditions will serve as a frame of refe rence in the planning of care to be offered from a continuous health disease. In addition, communication, ethical-legal considerations, literacy (technological aspects) are widely used to provide health care to an ethnically and culturally diverse populati on. The practice will be carried out in different critical care settings in hospitals that have such facilities. The student will complete a total of 135 hours of clinical practice per semester.
