Catalog description

During this course, students will learn about the history of Aviation and Drones as a business, developing an attitude and philosophy regarding accident prevention. Topics include: safety at all levels of the industry, aviation accident reporting, human factors, principles of accident investigation, accident prevention programs, and accident statistics. The course provides the student with knowledge on aspects such as human factors in risk management. It will also review the fundamental laws and regulations in aviation as established by the FAA. Aspects of international and safety regulatory entities such as DOT, NTSB, TSA, and the United States Congress are included.
