Catalog description

The course includes topics such as studies of the compartmental, segmental and structural organization of the human body, and the interdependence between structure and function, principles of human physiology and how systems interact to maintain body homeostasis. Using a regional approach to anatomy and a systemic approach to physiology, the active learning environment is enriched with the use of anatomical models, anatomy and physiology software, analysis of clinical cases, and socialized discussion, among others
