Catalog description

Course develops medical and surgical nursing techniques in animals of small and large species of different ages. It will discuss topics such as preventive health, basic home care, inpatient and inpatient care, emergencies and critical care, euthanasia, dentistry, drug administration, among other topics. The course prepares the student in th e development of critical thinking skills, quantitative reasoning, communication, diversity, and ethics.
