DIGITAL ELECTRONICS

Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce undergraduate engineering students to the Digital Electronics, in general principles of Boolean algebra, vocabulary, symbols, logic gates, combinational logic and devices. Students will recognize the differences between digital vs. analog electronics systems and its uses in modern electronics by using Analog Digital (ADC) and Di gital to Analog (DAC) converters. During the course students will learn the theory and applications of digital components as Latches, Flip Flops, Timers, Counters, Shift Registers, Multiplexers, Memory and Storage. The students will interact with programma ble logic software to implement and practice the acquired knowledge.
