Evaluation of adapted physical education as an instrument to improve the quality of life for children with handicapped: nature of adapted physical education, theories, laws and regulations, practices for inclusion, challenges for program development and foundations for research. Analysis for opportunities to advance research in adapted physical education. Students are required to eva luate the state of affairs of adapted physical education in Puerto Rico and develop strategies to improved.
