Catalog description

This course provides the student with the necessary knowledge about the bone system and the muscular system of the human body and its functions. Emphasis is placed on the development of critical thinking, knowledge and skills that allow the student to locate and identify the main muscles of the body as well as the insertion and origin of the muscle. Such knowledge is d eveloped through demonstrations of massage techniques, peer massages, and lectures. In addition, the course develops the competence of benefits and physiological effects of techniques that manipulate soft tissue.
