Catalog description

In this course, the student will have a supervised clinical experience of advanced level skills, in which he will perform advanced sonographic procedures, such as: studies of the thyroid gland, scrotum, prostate, popliteal area, neurosonography, musculoskeletal and obstetric sonograms. With where they will recognize the normal anatomy and pathology of the different organs evaluated, both adult and pediatric patients. In addition, they will apply the different tracking techniques, protocols, advanced handlin g of equipment and instrumentation, and quality control procedures with a minimum of supervision. The course has 360 hours of clinical practice during one semester.
