THERAPEUTIC RECREATION

Catalog description

This course emphasizes in the study of recreation and sports as a rehabilitation instrument for integral emotional development, the proper use of physical health and nutrition as a mean of socialization to the individuals with special needs. It proposes the use of recreational and sporting activities as a key factor in prevention of depression, obesity and its related diseases due to the lack of movement opportunity in the citizens with special needs. It is one semester.
