This course offers the student an integrative vision of the philosophical, historic, biological and psychological foundations of life span. Development theories in the areas of cognitive, psychosocial and biosocial development are discussed recognizing the interdisciplinary nature of human development. Changes are analyzed in each stage; cultural differences, diversity and brain development are considered.
