This course includes in -depth study of nutritional analysis methods, including dietary intake, as well as anthropometric, biochemical, and clinical measures. Students can practice nutritional analysis methods at individual and family levels. Students are also e xposed to nutritional evaluation studies. COURSES OBJECTIVES: 1. Identify the components of nutritional status assessment. 2. Classify and describe all nutritional assessment methods. 3. Apply and perform nutritional assessment methods including general he alth assessment (e. g., blood pressure and vital sings) 4. Interpret laboratory parameters relating to nutrition. 5. Screen individuals for nutritional risk 6. Collect pertinent information for comprehensive nutrition assessments. 7. Measure, calculate, an d interpret body composition data.
