Catalog description
The course allows the study of the importance of education and health promotion through social participation that, using critical thinking in accordance with concepts, methods, and strategies, promotes healthy lifestyles that tend to achieve optimal health as the axis of the central sciences of public health. Likewise, current health promotion efforts will be critically evaluated considering the cultural competency that will allow the development of communication skills in the community. This will make it possible to influence the change of lifestyles both at the individual and population level, promoting equity in access and quality of services, in a better quality of life that affects decision-making, demonstrating leadership and collective work
