Study of the main topics related to the Montessori Teacher: fundamental characteristics of the Montessori Teacher, roles, and functions of the teacher in the prepared environment, the skills they need to develop such as organizing and preparing the environment, routines, planes of development organized by level, and environments of peace. Emphasis on the development of knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities through the analysis of the Montessori Teacher’s role, the multilevel environment, and differentiate instruction, allowing students to assess the skills they nee d to develop and the scientific foundations that underlie the functions of this facilitator. Furthermore, it facilitates the development of competencies related to information skills, innovation, leadership, and consultancy. MONC 610 DESIGN OF MONTESSORI CURRICULUM AND TEACHING STRATEGIES FOR ARTS, HISTORY AND HUMANITIES 3 CREDITS Study of the main topics related to Montessori Curriculum Design and Teaching Strategies for Arts, History, and Humanities: Design and development of curriculum elements, multi -level lesson plans, differentiated learning, narrative and routine writing, design and creation of curriculum materials, and assessment according to the Montessori method. Emphasis on the development of knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities through the analysis of discipline curricula and their integration into the Montessori curriculum, enabling students to create multi-level lesson plans incorporating differentiated learning and innovative curriculum materials. Additionally, the development of competencies related to information skills, ethics and diversity, scientific reasoning, and innovation is facilitated.
