Catalog description

Introduction to the marketing process as a managerial function, ranging from planning, implementation, execution, and control of marketing strategies and programs. The controlled variables are studied, such as: product, price, promotion, and distribution. In addition, the effects of external variables, such as the government, the society, and the economy are studied at the local and global levels. Students will learn how marketers deliver value by satisfying customer needs and wants, determine which target markets to serve, and decide which goods and services are needed to serve these markets. Furthermore, students will be able to analyze problems and make decisions, in addition to applying their oral and written communications skills through presentations, assignments, individual and team projects.
