Catalog description

The course allows students to understand and apply the methods, technical and scientific processes to protect the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of information. Provides research knowledge to identify best practices to prevent malicious attacks on computers, servers, mobile devices, electronic sy stems, and computer networks. The student will acquire knowledge of the standards, protocols, methods, rules, laws to minimize risks to the information and cybersecurity infrastructure, including software (databases and files), hardware, networks and what the organization values as a risk.
