LANDSCAPE CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS AND METHODS

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to the properties and production on manmade landscape building materials such as concrete, wood, steel and among others. Throughout the course the students will explore the material performance in exterior applications, construction methods and detailing, landscape architecture technologies, retaini ng walls, recyclable materials, and its application in sustainable design. Also teach landscape estimation take off, software and methodology. The students will develop skills in quantitative reasoning, construction methods, infrastructure, among others.
