INFERENTIAL STATISTICS FOR ENGINEERS

Catalog description

Fundamental concepts of statistical inference. Design and analysis of statistical inference for one or two populations, simple and multiple linear regression and analysis of variance (ANOVA) for factorial experiments are discussed. Statistical software will facilitate problem solving and analysis. Students will develop the critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and ethics and diversity competencies required to analyze relationships between variables, conduct experiments, and analyze results.
