In this course, the concepts and principles of marketing in health services will be evaluated. The health market is an industry whose service offering corresponds to providing clinical care to all those who suffer from a health condition. The health market is the same as all other industries, the only thing that distinguishes it is the type of client who makes use of its services to seek relief or healing from their personal clinical condition. During the course, the guidelines to be followed in the health market a nd service companies in general will be identified. Like any company and in order to survive in the market, it is necessary for health services to develop strategic marketing plans taking as a focus the diversity of the population served, location of the f acility and under the protection of existing good practices and regulations. In addition, the skills and abilities for strategic management in health organizations are developed in the course in order to develop a marketing plan through a SMART plan. Ethic al principles related to marketing in health services will be discussed. By analyzing changes in the health market, they will be able to identify options to deal with changes with new innovative ideas that are viable for consumers and add value to the orga nization.
