GRAPHIC DESIGN STUDIO I

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the discipline of graphic design, providing with theoretical and practical experience of the principles and foundations. Throughout the course, the history of graphic design will be discussed, from its analog beginnings t o digital evolution. Students will integrate the elements of design, image, and typography to produce posters, advertising materials, newspaper advertisements and other products. Emphasis will be placed on developing creative solutions, as well as visual a nd verbal presentation skills.
